Widespread Panic, Tea Leaf Green Fox Theatre DVDs on the horizon

Live albums used to be the way to catch a band's concert performances (other than tape trading.)  Now, with the vastly improved technology, the DVD is the way to go.

Two bands and two Fox Theatres later, there's a lot of great stuff coming down the pipe.

First off is the October, 31 release of Tea Leaf Green's Rock 'N' Roll Band Part documentary and part concert footage, the film is directed by Justin Kreutzmann, son of Grateful Dead drummer Billy Kreutzmann, and captures the band at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado.  It will be released on CD as well as DVD.

Two weeks later on November 14, Widespread Panic will be releasing a DVD, Earth to Atlanta, recorded at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia on May 9.  This show was simulcast to 115 movie theaters nationwide, but now fans can watch it from the comfort of their living rooms in high defintion and 5.1 surround sound.
