Role: Photographer, Former Photo Editor

Lives In: Charlotte, North Carolina

Bio: Concert photographer from Charlotte, NC, who has been shooting concerts digitally since 1996 with film and since 2005 digitally when I got my first DSLR and started taking it to shows. Have enjoyed music and concerts since childhood. I have been to literally thousands of concerts. I also enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, skiing, swimming, exploring, the mountains and the beach and travel out west and to foreign lands. I usually have my black lab Jubby by my side except at the concerts and festivals.

Honest Tune has giving me the opportunity to expand my horizons and learn about new music and see many bands, given me access to shows and festivals all over the southeast and beyond, including The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington and Jam Cruise. I don’t listen to many albums, though I enjoy some of the classics. Bootlegs and live music is where my interests lie. I have thousands of live shows. Phish, The Grateful Dead, Lotus, PGroove, The Motet, Zach Deputy, New Mastersounds, Umphreys McGee, The Disco Biscuits, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and SVR are some of my top bands. I love Bear Creek Fest, Jam Cruise, The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, All Good Fest and Amberland the most.
