North Mississippi Allstars release first live concert DVD

Songs of the South Records, the new label by the North Mississippi Allstars, will be releasing the band's first official concert DVD, Keep on Marchin', on June 26.

Recorded  November 11, 2005 at the Higher Ground in Burlington,  VT;  the disc captures the band as a trio via six high definition cameras while the band toured in support of Electric Blue Watermelon.

Of the release, guitarist Luther Dickinson states that "After so many nights on the road,  I was almost burned out…But the crowd was so cool and Chris (Chew, bassist) was preachin' the blues; I found myself inspired.  I'm proud to have this one show documented so well."

This fall, Songs of the South will also be releasing an Allstars 10 year retrospective in the form of a two-disc set with accompanying documentary DVD.
