Mile High Fest takes “hiatus” for 2011

In a week that brought about the news of Langerado’s return after a two year hiatus, another festival has taken its place on the undetermined-length-of-absence list.

In spite of boasting a heavy-hitting lineup in 2010 including Dave Matthews Band, My Morning Jacket, Jack Johnson and Tom Petty, there will be no senior year performance for the three year old Mile High Music Festival ; the largest event of its type in Denver.

Citing financial reasons, in a news release, CEO of promoter AEG Live Rocky Mountain Region Chuck Morris announced that "it was not an easy decision to put the festival on hold." We are really proud of the event, and we’re not ruling out the possibility of bringing it back in the future."
